Nori Health Educational Services offers classes for nursing assistants and more in Alexandria.

Their Virginia State Board approved course for CNA nursing assistant students providesknowledge and skills to perform basic patient care in hospitals, nursing homes, or other medical facilities. Students receive classroom instructions as well as supervised clinical experiences in health care facilities. Upon the successful completion of the CNA program, a student will receive a Certificate of Completion which qualifies the student to take the National Aide Assessment program Examination (NNAAP) to become certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA). The classes cover basic life support for adults and infants,chain of survival, signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, dealing with choking in adults and infants, and other emergency first response situations. Students, who successfully complete the course, are awarded certification from the respective agency.

Nursing Assistant Program

The nursing Assistant program, as approved by the Virginia State Board provides students with the know ledge and skills to perform basic patient care in hospitals, nursing homes, or other medical facilities. Students receive classroom instructions as well as supervised chlincal experiences in health care facilities.

Upon the successful completion of the program, a student will receive a Cerificate of Completion which qualifies the student to take the National Aide Assessment program Examination (NNAAP) to become certified as a Nursing Assistant (CAN)

Medication Technician Program

This course needs the minimum standards of medication technicians for nursing homes and other long-tern health care facilities. The class covers the following
